Explore the Stunning Gardens of Blenheim

In Blenheim we are lucky to have two main gardens that are maintained by the Marlborough District Council. The team of gardeners maintain the gardens to a very high standard, this is a real asset to the Marlborough region.

Seymour Square which is only two minutes walk from Blenheim's town centre, it is a picturesque park of carefully tended floral gardens, it has a 16.5 m high historic stone clock tower and a memorial fountain, which offers a spectacular multi-coloured display at night.

Pollard Park is in easy walking distance from Seymour Square via a marked walkway, it is a 24.6 ha wooded parkland, meandering stream and a golf course. There are two giant redwoods over 100 years old with numerous deciduous trees and exquisite gardens.

From spring and right through the summer months I spend countless hours in both Seymour Square and Pollard Park. I get a lot of inspiration when photographing the flowers in the gardens for macro/closeup photos and also the other scenery within the parks.

If you are visiting Blenheim, make sure you have enough time to wander around both Seymour Square and Pollard Park to enjoy the exquisite gardens.

Below is a selection of images I have taken in both Seymour Square and Pollard Park.
